Rehearsal 3. Act 1 Scene 1 "A market scene"

On thursday 5th October I was trying to get this lot to Improvise a Market scene with bartering and customers and such. The scene uses a lot of "Background Artistes" who are improvising their own characters and coming up with a lot of extra details on their own. To do that myself would have taken hours and a lot of creativity! Hmm! I'm glad they brought along their own supply of imagination! Mr. Dowle.

Meanwhile in another part of the Hall the Nine Fates were busy directing themselves! Here they are coming up with ways in which to play their roles as the mysterious characters who control the events of the play! (Explanation on what thats all about in a later post!)

The Romeo and Juliet Blog is launched!

Hello everyone!
Mr. Dowle here. I've always been the nosey type and it looks like a few other teachers are too because they've put their head around the door of the hall to see just what is going on with the next production.
We've only had a couple of rehearsals but everyone is very excited at the prospect of the school taking on the legend that is Romeo and Juliet. So I thought it would be nice if everyone could have a chance to see exactly what is going on from now until the performance in March.
This blog will chart the progress of the show, give some sneak peaks behinfd the scenes and give you some inside information on how everyone is getting along.
So sit back and enjoy the ride into the Romeo and Juliet Bloggerverse!!
