Action from the last rehearsal before Xmas!

Hi everyone!
Well it sure has been a long hard term but working on Romeo and Juliet has definitely been the best part of my week ("Aaaaaaahhhhhh!"). And as we all go off for a well earned rest (and some Turkey and Pressies I should imagine) I'll leave you with the highlights of the week and some glimpses of the end of the play where SPOILER ALERT!!! R & J and P(aris aka Gerald Bishop) die!.... not for real of course it's just pretend. As you will see from the pics, they seemed to enjoy it.......

The troops gathering for the last rehearsal of term 1

Tybalt (James Schlunke) and Mercutio (Nicky Moss) chroegraphing their fight scene
(Act 3 Scene 1... I think!)

Ouch! Looks painful... As Nicky can tell you. Ask her about her wounded finger!!

Lack of Blog action!!!

Hello everybody!
Apologies for the lack of a photo update but I've been so busy actually directing the General Citizens that I've not had time to actual show you more behind the scenes action. I will make an effort during our last rehearsal of the term on Thursday and try to catch people in the act, so to speak, so that we have something to look at over the holiday.
However, I've had a few people request permission to make posts and nobody has actually got around to writing up their thoughts so far. So come on people don't be shy, I'm getting lonely tapping away on my own. I want gossip and reactions to what's been going on!
Those of you who already have permision need to take and upload photo's of life in the ranks!

For those of you not in the show, we've been having fun recently doing as all good drama students must from time to time and pretend to be trees and furniture (seriously!!!). Of course we can't give too much away but even though it sounds peculiar it's going to look great! elsewhere i've been hearing the tentative clash of metal on metal as some of the principles block their sword fighting scenes. they're pulling no punches from what I hear, Nicky Moss in particular, because they've already managed to break one of the swords!!!
i've also been hearing talk of people being extraordinarily funny and there could be a bit of a competition between Kim Heiniman and Rory Keys for who's going to get the biggest laughs!!!
As for the general citizens, well I think I may have to give an award for the person who plays the best inanimate object. Believe me it's a lot harder than it sounds.

Well thats all for now until after Thursdays rehearsal.

Speak to you soon.
